To compare the measured and the simulated radio frequency Bt distribution in cylindrical phantoms and in the head of healthy volunteers at 128 MHz. The experimental data were obtained with a 3 Tesla MRI research system equipped with a blrdcage coil. The simulated data were obtained with the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method of calculation for electromagnetics. MATERIAL AND METHODS the maximum) was 15 cm.
